The warm oranges, yellows, and red colors of this watercolor painting tie in with the intimate bond between grandmother and grandchild. There is something magical about having a kind grandmother, who has the benefit of life experience, but yet the gentle loving and comforting touch to make one feel safe and secure in this ever changing, often chaotic world.
