This whimsical watercolour, a tongue in cheek remark on nature’s natural form, the egg, depicts the age old use of the crystal ball. The colourfully dressed gypsy chicken dons a white polka dot and red bandana, which is coincidentally the same design as her client’s attire...a white polka dot red dress...hmmm...perhaps they have more in common than they think... the egg perhaps..or are they just predicting whether it will be a little hen or rooster?
