This painting is almost an autobiographical account of my childhood days, as we packed up our red Volkswagen Beetle and headed out for our annual family vacation. The only exception being, is that we didn’t live in a shell, but rather in an apartment complex in Montreal. Still it was very exciting, as we embarked on our adventures, always pressing onward toward the magnificent ocean.
